About
I am a licensed and board certified counselor providing evidence-based counseling to adults all over Georgia. My background is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I have specialized training with the military community, trauma treatment, pregnancy and postpartum mental health, addictions, and life skill training. I can help you work toward the goals you have for counseling using tools backed by research.

It's important for me to build authentic, trusting relationships where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgement. Counseling should be a place where you feel comfortable delving into the darker, more bothersome parts of life and know that you are able to openly express yourself in your sessions.

As we collaborate, I will support you by encouraging you to engage your strengths, offering new perspectives, and helping you challenge old patterns and boundaries to bring about real and lasting change. Counseling from a wellness perspective means I take the whole person into account and we may discuss recommendations to complimentary resources as they apply.

This practice honors the diversity of all human beings through an affirming, humanistic approach. We do not discriminate based on race, age, religion, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, sex, or gender identity.

Due to my personal background, I have a special interest in working with active duty, veterans, law enforcement, and their family members. I participate in multiple professional programs to support military and law enforcement families and offer the flexibility needed to meet the scheduling demands that our community is often subject to.
